I grew up in a family of six, sharing a 300 sq ft home in Mumbai for most of my childhood. The space was modest, but it never felt limiting. My father taught us to focus on possibilities rather than constraints, while my mother was the steady force that held everything together. I also grew up with three elder sisters who spoiled me endlessly while ensuring I stayed disciplined enough for academics.

As a child, I was convinced I would become a cricketer and dreamt more about cover drives than careers.

Life, naturally, had other plans.

As I grew older, I balanced academics with helping my father in his small shop, especially when hiring help wasn't an option. Those early experiences taught me resilience, and a firsthand appreciation for the energy and unpredictability of building something. Soon after completing my Indian CPA and CS, I briefly experimented with entrepreneurship by co-founding an e-commerce platform focused on selling books.

Eventually, I found my way into consulting at PwC in deals taxation. What began as a profession became a training ground — long days, constant problem-solving, and a front-row seat to how decisions shape businesses. Along the way, it became deeply personal too — this is where I met my life partner, a relationship that has shaped my life far more meaningfully than any career milestone ever could.

Looking back, joining Peak XV feels like finding the perfect intersection of curiosity, ownership, and chaos. It’s one of those rare places where you’re trusted early, challenged constantly, and pushed to think bigger every day.
