“The difference between failure and long-term success is grit. It’s the fuel that drives innovation and the ability to embrace change.”

I grew up moving across India every few years as my father’s banking job took us from one city to another. Each move meant a new home, new school, and new friends. Those early years taught me how to adapt, stay curious, and thrive in change. That sense of resilience has shaped how I approach life and work.
After several years in banking in Germany and India, I joined Sequoia India (now Peak XV) in 2010. I came back to India because I believe deeply in this country’s potential. The pace of transformation here is extraordinary, and it feels like this is truly our moment.
What draws me to investing is the privilege of partnering with founders who dream audaciously and build with courage. I look for ambition, clarity, and a desire to solve problems that move India forward. Over the years, I have seen cycles of highs and lows, but one constant remains: founders who pair grit with purpose build enduring companies and great teams.
Becoming a mother gave me fresh perspective. It taught me to play the long game, embrace imperfection, and have a builder mindset. Outside the office, I find energy in fitness, art, food, and the outdoors.
