“People who deeply care about your success will highlight your blind spots when everyone else is cheering you on. They don’t want you to like them, they want you to win.”
I grew up in a large family in an industrial town where change was slow but inevitable. I watched a family business past its prime and saw firsthand how resistance to change can stall growth. From a young age I was drawn to underlying issues such as social class, gender roles, politics, and religion, and explored them through writing, poetry, and nonprofit work even while studying math and engineering.
During college I launched a startup. It struggled, I knew it would, but I refused to quit. Soon after, I joined the founding team at Housing.com where I led product, operations, and customer success across fast-moving environments. The ride was intense and taught me the value of purpose and values in building companies.
At Peak XV I partner with early-stage and growth founders in fintech, SaaS, D2C, and e-commerce. I look for founders who build simply, scale thoughtfully, and care deeply about their users, teams, and impact. I believe it takes a touch of irrationality to create something remarkable and empathy to make it endure.
Outside work, I travel, read history, explore family stories, write poetry, and enjoy good comedy and documentaries.
