“Always go with the choice that scares you the most, because that’s the one that is going to help you grow.”
I grew up in Delhi and have lived in seven cities across India, nurturing a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives and an open mind toward new opportunities.
I trained as a computer engineer, which sharpened my problem-solving skills and passion for numbers. While working on a software development project for a US-based public market fund, I was drawn to the world of finance and investments - a spark that led me to pursue an MBA with a specialization in finance.
A decade in investment banking at JP Morgan, across India and the US, gave me invaluable experience leading market-defining M&A transactions and fundraises spanning traditional technology, business services, and new-age economy sectors. During this time, I crossed paths with many Indian founders and realized I could channel my expertise into the startup ecosystem.
At Peak XV, I lead the Strategic Development team, providing guidance to portfolio companies on capital raising, IPO preparations, and driving successful exits. This involves active cap table management - introducing the right private market investors at each growth stage and positioning the equity story for public markets.
I love working with founders who have clarity of thought and mission. I look forward to collaborating closely with entrepreneurs and corporate development teams on their journey to a successful public listing and beyond, while also exploring other avenues of value creation including M&A.
