Growing up in the charming town of Nangal Township, Punjab, my days were filled with stories of historical heroes and a deep love for cricket. While coming of age in Chandigarh, I dreamed of a future on the cricket field. But like many, I faced the crossroads of passion and practicality, ultimately choosing commerce and chartered accountancy over cricket stardom.

Delhi’s bustling opportunities drew me in 2008, leading me into the world of tax litigation. Delhi became my launchpad, where I transformed my enthusiasm for leg spin and fast deliveries into a knack for numbers and tax codes. Over the next eight years, I mastered the intricacies of income tax litigation. In 2015, PwC India came calling, and I led pan-India direct tax matters as part of the company’s finance team. In 2024, my journey took another turn as I moved to Bengaluru, joining Peak XV’s finance team.

In life, much like in cricket, team synergy is the secret to success. Achieving greatness requires aligning individual goals with a shared vision, and understanding what drives each team member is key. Personally, trust and integrity are paramount to me, and I strive to see those values reflected in the people around me.
