Growing up in an army family meant constantly moving and learning alongside people from all walks of life. This instilled in me a deep empathy for diverse perspectives and a sharp awareness of my own strengths and weaknesses. Seeking high impact, I joined an early-stage startup as a developer right after engineering school. By 22, I was traversing Europe and the US, managing relationships with major enterprise customers—a phenomenal, trial-by-fire experience.

Following business school, I joined McKinsey & Company. A global rotation program took me across three continents in three years. While mentors advised me to anchor my career in one location, I prioritized the richness of the journey over predictable outcomes—a philosophy that still defines me. Later, I joined a nascent Indian startup as one of its first hires. As we scaled rapidly, I anchored the sales strategy for our core product line and built a team of over 100 professionals. This thrilling ride gave me a ringside view of how venture capital catalyzes growth, naturally paving my path to Peak XV Partners.

At heart, I am an operator. I love standing shoulder-to-shoulder with founders in the trenches of company building. I firmly believe that every startup makes India a little better, and helping a select few build enduring businesses is the experience of a lifetime.
