Aricent was a major global design, software, and product engineering services company that specialized in communications technology, IoT frameworks, and connectivity solutions for the telecommunications, semiconductor, and automotive industries. Originally founded in India as Hughes Software Systems, the company evolved through multiple private equity transitions before being acquired by the French engineering giant Altran in 2018 (which was subsequently integrated into Capgemini Engineering).
