Rashmi Shivashankar

As a kid, instead of playing with toys, I played with the telephone and pretended to be my dad’s manager at his factory. I was quite fascinated by ‘business’ and everything surrounding it (even asking for payments from vendors to ticking off machinery checklists). I always tried to make extra money as a kid – be it selling trump cards or renting my books or even doing a simple copy, paste task for my older neighbor, who thought I was a computer genius. Academically, I was an average student and primarily focussed on sports throughout school and college (along with a side hustle to make some money). Something changed, however, when I went to law school at the National University of Singapore for my Masters in Business Law. It was then that I decided that I don’t want to lead an average life – while I have a long way to go, being at Peak XV gives me hope that I am on the right path.

I am grateful for the platform the firm has given me and the opportunity to learn from the most intelligent people in the room.
