Abhishek Gupta

Born and raised in Delhi, I began my career as an entrepreneur, building in the tech space. After a decade of building from the ground up, I joined SAP, where I spent 17 years in leadership roles, including six transformative years in Budapest. Those years abroad shaped me and my family, and brought us Mint, our West Highland Terrier, who’s been with us ever since.

In 2023, I returned to India looking to apply my global experience in a more entrepreneurial environment. Peak XV offered that platform: a culture of ambition and ownership, with the freedom to remain deeply hands-on in building technology and operations. My philosophy is simple: reject mediocrity, set uncompromising standards, and lead as if every workplace were your own.

Outside of work: Cooking and fitness are my creative outlets—I love experimenting with gourmet plating and baking artisan sourdough. For me, excellence isn’t just a professional pursuit – it’s a way of life, balanced by the small joys that make the journey meaningful.
